The front desk staff and management made continued claims that the hotel was completely full (though I went online later to see that rooms were indeed available). The staff's lack of concern was deeply disappointing. Despite multiple complaints, no action was taken to address the problem, leaving us frustrated and sleep-deprived. The constant banging and clanging noises echoed throughout, made it impossible to get a moment of peace or rest. Our initial room, plagued by insane pipe issues, was a nightmare. When we approached them with our concerns and issues, they displayed a shocking level of indifference and apathy, as if our problems were of no consequence to them. Their lack of enthusiasm and warmth set the tone for the entire stay.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a front desk staff that seemed more interested in their own personal conversations than attending to guests. The unwelcoming front desk staff, their lack of solutions to our issues, and the insane pipe problems in our room made for sleepless nights and a terrible trip to New York City. My recent stay at the Indigo Lower East Side Hotel was an absolute disaster from start to finish.
